Join Waterville Area Women’s Club on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, for the third annual 100 Women Who Give event, and turn your $100 into $10,000+ for one local nonprofit serving women and children in Central Maine.
Come learn about the important work and impacts of three local Maine nonprofits—Hardy Girls, Hospice Volunteers of Waterville Area, and Sexual Assault Crisis & Support Center—and support one nonprofit receiving a $10,000 donation to take that work even farther.
Sponsored by Waterville Area Women’s Club and Kennebec Savings Bank, the 100 Women Who Give event will be held at the Snow Pond Center for the Arts (8 Goldenrod Lane, Sidney, Maine).
How it works:
- Purchase your 100 Women Who Give ticket.
- 100 event tickets at $100 equals $10,000—all going to one nonprofit and its mission. Any additional funds raised will be split between the other two organizations.
At the April 8, 2026, event:
- Three local nonprofits—Hardy Girls, Hospice Volunteers of Waterville Area, and Sexual Assault Crisis & Support Center—will share their impact stories with attendees and raise awareness of their organizations.
- Each attendee will have the opportunity to meet representatives from the three nonprofits, learn more about their mission and work, and vote for one.
- The organization with the most votes will be given a check for $10,000 to support their work and mission. Runners-up will also receive donations, thanks to corporate sponsor Kennebec Savings Bank.
- Can’t attend but want to support the event? You can purchase a not-attending ticket at the link below, and vote in advance.
- Hors d-oeuvres and cash bar will kick off the night, followed by presentations and voting, and conclude with dancing and celebration. The event is sponsored by Waterville Area Women’s Club and Kennebec Savings.

The Nonprofits
Three local nonprofits have been selected to share their missions and impact stories at the event and raise awareness of their work. One will receive a $10,000 donation:
Hardy Girls is a Maine-based, research-driven nonprofit. Established in 2000, it partners with girls and nonbinary youth to ignite curiosity, promote thinking critically, build coalitions, and challenge the status quo. Hardy Girls believes in changing the culture, not fixing the young person and works with 1,200+ girls and nonbinary youth annually through year-round, statewide programs.
Hospice Volunteers of Waterville Area is a non-profit organization founded in 1980 and serving 27 communities in Central Maine. Hospice Volunteers provides non-medical support to individuals and their families during the last phases of life, and support to loved ones throughout the grieving process. They also educate the community regarding issues related to death and grieving.
Sexual Assault Crisis & Support Center‘s mission is to lessen the trauma-related suffering of sexual assault and promote healing by guiding those affected by sexual violence toward survival through support, advocacy, education, and community collaboration.
